VAT and Taxes Fully Europe

Are prices including VAT on the site?

All prices in EUR on our website include 21% (Belgian) VAT. If you change the currency to GBP - Pound Sterling on the website, then prices include 20% UK VAT because we have a UK VAT number as a company and are thus obliged to charge 20% UK VAT on orders shipped to the UK. Check the explanation on VAT local VAT numbers underneath for more info.

How do we handle company purchases?

We have implemented a tool on the cart page of our website in which you can enter your VAT number. Before you go to checkout please click "Validate" this will check if you entered a valid EU VAT number. The database that we use to check if the number you entered is valid is the EU VIES database. Please check the format that you need to enter your VAT number in so that it can be checked correctly. You can see the format by clicking the "i".

After you clicked validate, a message will be shown if the VAT number was valid yes or no. If it is you can proceed to ckeckout and no VAT will be added to your order if your shipping address is or outside the EU (export), within the EU but not in Belgium (intracommunity).

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, we send invoices to every customer. If a special VAT regulation was applied on your order the correct messages will show on your invoice. If that would not be the case, please reach out to us by mail help@fully.com.

What if I'm in a country that is not part of the EU

If your shipping address is not part of the economic zone of the European Union then the order is seen as export and no Belgian VAT is charged. Next to countries that are not part of the Economic zone of the EU there are also areas that are part of EU countries but as an area are not. Such areas are for example: Guernsey, Jersey, San Marino, the Canary Islands (more info can be found here). If you ship to those areas, no VAT will be applied.

Important note, import taxes/customs may apply for countries that are not part of the economic zone of the European Union. Each country can have its own customs rate so please check on the website of the ministry of finance of the country you reside in. This does not apply for countries that are part of the European Union!

What about normal B2C customers without a company

For regular customers: Regular customers from outside the UK, France and Ireland will pay 21% Belgian VAT if they buy from other countries within the EU. Customers from the UK or France will pay 20% UK and French VAT and customers that ship to Ireland will pay 23% Irish VAT. Customers from Norway, Switzerland and Serbia on the other hand will not have to pay 21% Belgian VAT because they don't fall under regular EU VAT regulations.

Important note, import taxes/customs may apply for countries that are not part of the economic zone of the European Union. Each country can have its own customs rate so please check on the website of the ministry of finance of the country you reside in. This does not apply for countries that are part of the European Union!

B2C customer from UK, France or Ireland

In Europe local VAT (in our case non Belgian VAT) has to be paid once a certain revenue-threshold is surpassed in that country as a foreign business. Fully exceeds this threshold in the UK, France and Ireland. This means we have a local VAT number in these three countries. From the moment you have a VAT number in the other country you have to start charging local VAT on the sales to B2C customers that are shipped to these countries. On our website the prices are shown including 21% Belgian VAT (and 20% UK VAT if you look at the website in GBP) because we are obliged to show it that way but, during checkout when you have filled in that you'll ship products to France, the UK or Ireland local VAT amounts will be taken into account. 20% for France and the UK and 23% for Ireland.
